A seal has been spotted by people on the harbour at Whitehaven.
Crowds of people have flocked to the harbour to enjoy the Continental Markets and fairground this Bank Holiday weekend.
But little did they know there is also a seal lying on the slipway just by the iconic Crow's Nest structure.
People have been watching in amazement as the seal, which is rarely seen in this area, sits on the harbourside.
This is not the first time a seal has been spotted in the area this year, back in March Whitehaven Marina and the Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue team both announced that a seal was in the harbour.
The seal spotted earlier in the year was named Stella and it is likely this may be the same creature.
