This week a popular cafe on Whitehaven's high street will serve a coronation-themed menu.
Of course, many of us around the country will be celebrating the crowning of our new King with parties, events, and gatherings held all over the place.
King Charles recommended a new dish for his coronation to mark the occasion.
It consists of a quiche with broad beans, tarragon, and spinach served with new potatoes and salad.
Over 70 years ago, for the late Queen's crowning a new dish was created which was coronation chicken, a meal still very popular to this day.
A lot longer ago Queen Victoria had Victoria's sponge cake as her coronation dish.
Cafe West in Whitehaven will be incorporating all of these dishes into its menu which will be served Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6.
The cafe manager, Alison Ostle, said: "What we're going to do is our own 'Right Royal Cfe West menu, which will run alongside our normal menu.
"For that, we have coronation chicken soup served with a caraway wigg which is a bread roll, then we've got the King Charles coronation quiche which is spinach, broad bean, cheese, and tarragon.
"That will be served like they are at the coronation with salad and new potatoes and for our Right Royal Cafe West menu pudding we have fresh cream Victoria sponge cake."
Cafe West is located on King Street in Whitehaven town centre and is open from 9.30 am until 3.30 pm.
