VISITORS to The Beacon Museum in Whitehaven can immerse themselves in the Roman era from the end of this month.
‘Are We There Yet?’ runs from April 29 until October 1 and is a chance to get hands-on with lots of interactive exhibits and special activities.
A spokesperson said: "Guest can discover what the Romans did for Cumbria – who were they and what did they leave behind for us?
"They can also create a mosaic, hear Roman tales at the Roundhouse, dress the part, or complete a Roman-themed trail that explores the family attraction.
"During the May half term and summer holidays, the museum will host a range of extra activities for families – check the website for details."
