A Whitehaven takeaway has received a new new food hygiene rating.
Chattanooga has been handed a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Chattanooga Flame Grill Take Away, a takeaway at 5 Duke Street, Whitehaven, Cumbria was given the score after assessment on March 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
For the hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage their standards were found to be Good.
For the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene they were found to be Generally Satisfactory.
For the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future they were found to be Good.
It means that of Copeland's 242 takeaways with ratings, 140 (58%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
