AN international artist is set to perform at The Gather in Ennerdale next month.
British musical performer Steve Tilston, known for his folk and guitar music, will be performing at the venue.
Upstairs @ The Gather will be hosting the concert on Saturday, March 4, starting at 7pm.
Steve has been seen on Later with Jools Holland and BBC Four Songwriters' Circle, he has also been a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner, for Best Original Song.
Peter Maher, who promotes the musical gigs, said: "Steve Tilston is another international known performer who has agreed to play for our audiences.
"Steve’s story was the inspiration for Hollywood movie 'Danny Collins' starring Al Pacino, if you don’t know about the lost letter from John and Yoko you should Google it.
"Our success in attracting such a portfolio of players is through the musicians' personal recommendations.
"After every performance I have a conversation with them to say, 'Now you have experienced it yourself, who is the one performer you think would go down well here'.
"They put me in touch and more often than not, that musician agrees.
"It was Simon Mayor, arguably the UK's greatest mandolin player, who performed Upstairs @ The Gather with Hilary James last April who recommended Steve."
