A LOCAL business is offering an £1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction after its store was vandalised and burgled.

AS Designs in Cleator Moor was broken into between 6:30pm on October 21 and 11:30am, October 22.

Entry was forced into the property by smashing a front window.

AS Designs was established in 2008 and is one of the leading specialists in print and design within West Cumbria.

Director Adam Ross has over 10 years experience in his sector - but said this is not the first time his business has been damaged.

Adam said: "We have put a lot of hard work and investment recently into our building and equipment and it is really disgusting this has happened.

"It hasn't been the first act of vandalism we have had this year.

"We are small local business employing local people in uncertain times which presents enough challenges without this happening."
