THE BEACON Museum has revealed an exciting programme of Christmas events.
There is something for everyone, from wreath-making for kids to family photography sessions - and there's even a chance to meet Frozen's Elsa.

Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4, The Beacon Portal (ground floor) - Christmas family photography sessions
These festive mini photo shoots are the perfect way to capture a family memento to treasure forever.
- £40 per session (admission to the museum is not included).
- Each session lasts 30 minutes and includes digital images that will be emailed to you.

Sunday, December 4, The Beacon Portal - Christmas wreath making for kids.
Join Emma from Eliza and Flo to make a beautiful seasonal wreath. Families will be greeted with a hot chocolate from a 'Christmas helper'. All materials are provided but participants can bring along pieces to personalise their wreath if they wish.
- Cost £25 per child (admission to the museum is not included).
- A parent or guardian must be present but does not need to buy a ticket.
- Ages 7 +.
Saturday, December 10, and Sunday, December 11, The Beacon Museum Viewing Gallery - Meet Elsa from Frozen.
Children can make some Frozen-themed crafts then join Queen Elsa for a story, princess lessons, games, dancing, 'the princess promise' and photographs.
- Sessions run at 11am and 1pm on each of the two days.
- £15 per child, or £9 per child for annual pass holders. This includes general admission to the museum.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Accompanying adults need to pay the museum admission fee.
- Sessions last one hour, then participants are free to explore the museum.
- Dressing up is encouraged.
- There will be a Frozen-themed trail throughout the museum for children to explore.
December 17 - 22, The Beacon Portal - Santa’s Grotto
Santa's guests will be greeted with hot chocolate from the elves. There are lots of festive crafts to do, and each child will visit Santa in his winter wonderland during their allocated time slot.
- £11.50 per child or £6.50 for annual pass holders. This includes general admission to the museum.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Accompanying adults must pay the museum admission fee.
Tuesday, December 20 and Thursday, December 22, The Beacon Portal - Pet Encounter
Children will love getting to know some furry friends with the team from Pet Encounter.
- One session each day, at 10am.
- £8.50 per child, or £4 per child for annual pass holders. These prices include general admission to the museum.
- A parent or guardian must be present.
- Accompanying adults must pay the museum admission fee.
