Whitehaven Town Council have announced their plans for this year's Christmas lights switch on.
The light switch on will take place on Saturday, November 19 in the town centre.
There will be musical acts and family entertainment and there may also be a funfair on the harbour.
A spokesperson from Whitehaven Town Council said: "There will be a CFM stage with an ABBA tribute act performing along with some local artistes.
"Taylor's Funfair should be coming to the town and local businesses in the area will be remaining open."

Last year a much smaller event was held with Councillor Chris Hayes switching on the lights outside Haigh's Butchers.
The lights were well received but people complained that a bigger event was not held, as the council had decided against it due to Covid.
This year as restrictions have been fully lifted Christmas celebrations in the town will return to pre Covid level.
