WORKINGTON Town will say goodbye to their head coach at the end of the season, the club's board of directors have just announced (September 5).
Head coach Chris Thorman has left the club to move on to a new opportunity elsewhere.
In a statement released by the Workington board of directors, it read: "Head coach Chris Thorman has taken the decision to accept an opportunity at another club and will leave us at the end of the season.
"We’d like to put on record our sincere thanks to Chris for his time at Town and wish him all the very best for the future.
"Further details to follow as Chris and the club’s focus is on our final game of the season away at York," they said.
