A man has been fined after he failed to comply with a condition of a firearm certificate.
Christopher Roberts, of Kinniside, Cleator, failed to ensure that no unauthorised person could gain access to ammunition held at an address on May 24.
The 66-year-old had previously denied failing to comply with a condition of the firearm certificate he holds but changed his plea on Wednesday as he was due to stand trial at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
Roberts was fined £270 and must pay £350 in court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
