Number 10- On Saturday, June 4 Whitehaven Male Voice Choir will be hosting a Jubilee Concert in The Solway Hall. There will be a guest artiste Margaret Keyes, a well known soprano performing alongside them. The show will start at 7:30pm.
Number 9- If you walk around the harbourside you will often notice lots of people fishing on the harbour. Now is the perfect time to head down and see what you can catch. There are lots of mackeral in the water at this time of year.
Number 8- Muncaster Castle will be hosting Jubilee celebrations this weekend, visitors can enjoy a picnic and a special exhibition to celebrate the reign of our Monarch.
Number 7- If you want to have a fun day with the kids why not pick up a crab catching kit. You can lower the kit into the harbour and catch small crabs before releasing them back into the sea. It's a great way to learn more about nature whilst having fun.
Number 6- The Gaiety Cinema will be showing the smash hit blockbuster Top Gun Maverick. It will be a great day spent for any movie lover.
Number 5- Whitehaven Harbour is a perfect place to spend a summer's day. You can enjoy a walk around the marina or even head along the coast to St Bees or Harrington.
Number 4- Whitehaven Town Council and local business owner Gerard Richardson have opened a photography exhibtion to mark the Jubilee that will be open over the weekend. Visitors can take a nostalgic look back at Whitehaven and enjoy fond memories.
Number 3- If you are looking to relax this bank holiday why not venture around some of Copeland's hidden gems like Clint's Quarry and Longland's Lake.
Number 2- Hensigham Community Centre will be hosting a Jubilee party for Hillcrest residents. Why not head along and enjoy the fun.
Number 1- As it is bank holiday weekend it's the perfect time to let your hair down and have some fun. There are some great places to drink in Whitehaven including the Royal Standard.
