A community venue in the western Lake District has big plans for the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
The Gather, in Ennerdale, is to host a film and photography-based event on Sunday, June 5 to commemorate the occasion.
Funding for the project was made available through The National Lottery Community Fund.
Emma Shephard who helps to operate The Gather has helped to put the entire project together.

We spoke to a volunteer at The Gather, June Pearson, to find out more.
Mrs Pearson said: “We came up with an idea to do a ‘living history of the valley’ talking to people with memories of the last 70 years.
“We then began to collate together old photographs and memories to help to put the exhibition together.
“We contacted local film maker Steve Wharton and musician and composer Dave Camlin who has worked on projects in and around Ennerdale for a number of years.
“Steve’s working on the film aspect and recording people who have come forward with stories helping us to put the film together.
“Dave has created a piece of music and his choir will be singing as part of the film that will be shown.”
The film will last for around an hour and will be launched on the Sunday morning of the Jubilee weekend, at 10:30am.
Tickets for the event will be sold for £5 and a creamed scone with a cup of tea will be included for visitors.
The film will be shown alongside the exhibition in an upstairs community room in The Gather.
The show will run for a month from then and will be free to view at any time, the film will then run at various points throughout the day.
The Gather have also said that they will be streaming the film viewing onto You Tube on the Sunday morning.
The venue started it’s journey back in 2016 and offers a place for the people of the village and it’s visitors to enjoy and socialise.
