THE COUNCIL’S performance report for the third quarter of 2021-22 reveals that all its key deliverables are on-track.
A Copeland Council performance report, which will be discussed by councillors this week, shows that the authority is on-track to deliver everything it aims to in the third quarter of this financial year.
The report states that 100 per cent of key deliverables were on track at the end of quarter three, these include the domestic abuse crisis support and intervention project; social prescribing and the climate change action plan.

95 per cent of the council’s key performance indicators were on target at the end of that period.
A key performance indicator is a measure of an organisation’s success.
The KPIs that met their targets include the number of new homes built, the number of new homes approved, percentage of council tax collected and the amount of local people supported with employability skills.
Only one of Copeland Council’s key performance indicators was not met: the number of affordable homes built.

However, the report states: "This is a non-corporately owned KPI as the outcome is not within the council’s control."
Five KPIs did not meet or exceed last year’s performance.
