1 If you're a movie lover then why not head down to The Gaiety Cinema in Whitehaven. This weekend they'll be showing Top Gun Maverick starring Tom Cruise.
2 At the Rosehill Theatre this weekend you can enjoy a Rosehill Players production of Fur Coat No Knickers. The show will be performed Friday 27 amd Saturday 28 at 7:30pm.
3 There are some great walks to do around the Copeland area that many people forget about. Dent Fell near Cleator Moor is a particularly nice fell with views from the summit of the whole area.
4 There are also some fantastic nature reserves to enjoy, Longland's Lake and Clint's Quarry near Egremont and Cleator are amazing places to explore with a wonderful range of wildlife.
5 Muncaster Castle is an amazing lace for you and your family and friends to spend a day. You can learn about the rich history of the castle while also enjoying the activities on offer.
6 Just a couple of miles away is The Eskdale to Ravenglass Railway. A novelty rail service that transports you through the scenic Cumbrian countryside.
7 If you love the west Cumbrian coast then the perfect place to experience is the St Bees to Whitehaven coastal path along the cliff tops. You can also carry on from Whitehaven to Harrington bay.
8 Whitehaven Harbour is also a fascinating place to spend an hour or two. The newly refurbished light house on the west pier is truly a spectacle to witness.
9 The Beacon is hosting some great exhibitions at the moment. Visitors can enjoy an attraction detailing the life of The Yellow Earl and there is also a pirate display for children.
10 The Rum Story is also another one of Whitehaven's top attraction. The museum details the town's history of pirates and the rum trade.
