If you are looking for something to do this weekend then look no further.
Here at The Whitehaven News we have compiled together a list of the Top 10 things to do in Whitehaven and Copeland this weekend.
We hope you find something that you and your friends and family will be able to enjoy.
Number 10- At The Solway Hall in Whitehaven Thoroughly Modern Millie will be performed. Whitehaven Theatre Group will be performing the multi award winning musical on Friday and Saturday this week. The show will be performed at 7pm on both nights, you can also catch the show every night through the week.
Number 9- On Saturday, April 9 at 2pm you can catch a screening of the new movie Cyrano at The Rosehill Theatre. The movie stars Peter Dinklage of the hit show Game of Thrones.
Number 8- If you would prefer a family day out at the cinema then why not take the kids to see the new Sonic The Hedgehog 2 which will be showing this weekend at The Gaiety Cinema.
Number 7- There are some fabulous lakes in the Copeland area which are the perfect place for a hike in spring. Both Ennerdale and Wasdale are perfect places to spend a day out in the country.
Number 6- There are some wonderful areas of coastline in and around Whitehaven. St Bees and Parton beach are wonderful places to go for a walk or picnic. There are also a number of pubs and eateries in St Bees.
Number 5- Castle Park in Whitehaven is a great place to spend the afternoon, there is also a children's play area so it's the perfect place to take the kids over the Easter holidays.
Number 4- Longland's Lake nature reserve in Cleator is a wonderfully calming place for a stroll and to see some wildlife.
Number 3- Just a short walk or drive from Longland's Lake is the picturesque Clint's Quarry. Located in an old quarry just outside of Egremont, this nature reserve is a brilliant place to enjoy a peaceful afternoon.
Number 2- If you like skateboarding then why not spend a day at the Skate Park in Egremont, there are some good facilities to practice your skills.
Number 1- Whitehaven Harbour is always a good choice for a relaxing day. There are a number of places to go for a drink to like The Royal Standard or Anna's.
