A man who was more than three times the drink-drive limit has been given a lengthy driving ban.
Laine Atkinson, 32, of Maple Grove, Valley Park, Whitehaven, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with alcohol level above the limit.
He appeared at Workington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Atkinson had been driving a Ford Fiesta on Pearl Road at Salterbeck in Workington when the offence took place on February 3.
He had 110mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Atkinson was banned from driving for 28 months.
He was also given a community order with 20 rehabilitation activity activity days and must complete an alcohol abstinence programme.
Atkinson must also pay £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
