Copeland Borough Council are looking for volunteers to help develop and rejuvinate a part of Distington Crematorium.
The work includes creating a Victorian Walled Garden on the crematorium grounds.
Lots of work is taking place around this area to make it a more appealing and pleasant place for visitors to come and enjoy.
A spokesperson from Copeland Borough Council said: "Do you have plans for the weekend yet? Why not volunteer with us this Saturday from 10am to 12pm in the Victorian Walled Garden at Distington Crematorium? We need your helpful hands to help us plant seeds that will grow into delicious vegetables and beautiful flowers.
"Tea, coffee, juice, home-made scones and jam will be on offer for volunteers. It’s set to be a sunny day, so let this be your excuse to make the most out of the good weather."
