A NEW music show highlighting the incredible talent of the late Beatle George Harrison will be performed at Millom’s Beggar’s Theatre this summer.
Something about George – The George Harrison Story will arrive in west Cumbria on Saturday, June 11, and tells the truly remarkable tale of one of music’s most understated icons.
Featuring well-loved songs like “My Sweet Lord”, “Something”, and “Handle with Care”, the show includes incredible solo material and music from rock n’ roll’s greatest supergroup, The Travelling Wilburys – not forgetting more than a few classics from The Beatles along the way.
The show stars actor and musician Daniel Taylor, who has appeared in The Bill, Brookside and also portrayed fellow Beatle John Lennon in a UK Tour production of Lennon - Through A Glass Onion.
Tickets for the performance cost £22 and are available now on the Beggar’s Theatre website.
