Whitehaven Amateur Football Club (AFC) have been paying tribute to their coach, who died on Friday.
Darren Buchanan was a coach at the club and a friend to many of those involved with Whitehaven AFC.
A spokesperson from the club said: "Some of our matches have held a minute's silence and applause in memory of our coach and friend Darren Buchanan.
"This weekend, West Cumbria Youth League have asked all teams in the league to hold a minute's applause in Darren’s memory. Our first team game against Southport Hesketh will also hold a minute's applause."
Darren died on Friday, February 4 and was well known for his position with the club. In this short space of time many people have paid tribute to him.
