A former pub in Cleator Moor will be transformed into a multi-use building if current plans gain council approval.
In a vision revealed to Copeland Borough Council has proposed that The Commercial Hotel at 5 High Street in Cleator Moor would be given a new lease of life.
The plans submitted on behalf of the applicant, Mr Ali stated: "The property is a vacant public house located between North Street and Union Street.
"The application is for the conversion of the existing vacant public house to form a retail unit to the ground floor and 6no flats to the upper floors. 3.01.02 The retail unit to the ground floor will consist of a prep room, office, staff room and retail unit.
He added: "The proposed flats to the upper floors will comprise of lounge, kitchen, dining room, bedroom/s and bathroom.
" The development is to be constructed within the envelope of the existing building."
