A YOUNG entrepreneur has been appointed as yet another organisation's head of communications.

Oliver Hodgson, owner of PR company Platinum Live, has been recruited by sports and entertainment agency, Tier One Worldwide, overseeing a revitalised global communications project for the firm as it embarks on a busy 2021/22 agenda.

Gosforth businessman, Oliver, said: “This is such an exciting opportunity that I just couldn’t miss out on – I’m both grateful and proud to be working with two very well-respected industry professionals.

Tier One Worldwide is led by sports and entertainment industry executives, James Filmer and Bruce Hayward, who offer a wide range of commercial rights and event experience in the sports, entertainment, and leisure sector.

The company is growing an enviable portfolio of rights holders reaching across the sports, music, and entertainment industries, connecting with a variety of brand sectors that include FMCG, vehicle, insurance, energy, and gaming platforms.
