Three charities have benefited from one caring choir's generosity.
Whitehaven Male Voice Choir spent the festive season raising funds through Carol singing at Morrisons, Tesco and Asda, and their annual Christmas Concert.
And thanks to the generosity of the community, the group could split the donations three-ways, benefitting multiple charities.
The talented team gave a cheque of £800 to mental health charity, Making Time, West Cumberland Hospital's Stroke Unit and the Mental Health Unit, Yewdale Ward.
The presentation took place at St James's Church, Whitehaven, with members from each charity attending to receive the cheque.
A spokesman for the choir said: "Thank you to all those who attended and contributed to these events over the Christmas period, as without your support, [we] would not be able to make such generous donations."
