It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Jim, peacefully at home in Seascale on Sunday 10th November 2024, aged 91 years with loving family at his side. Beloved wife of Janette,dearly loved dad of Jan and Elizabeth and partners Steve and John. An adored grandad and great-grandad.
Jim will be much missed by all his family and friends.
A Celebration service and cremation for family and friends to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium at 1.30pm on Thursday 5th December 2024. Family flowers only please. Afterwards all are welcome to Seascale Golf Club for refreshments. Donations, in memory of Jim would be gratefully accepted to Headway Brain Injury UK - (A charity currently very important to the family) c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
