MAIDMENT Ian "Jimmy" It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ian Maidment, aged 75, on 8th June 2024, at Newcastle Freeman Hospital. Dearly beloved and devoted husband to Janice, much loved father of Danielle, David, and Robert, father-in-law to Akiva, grandad to Isabella and Finn. He will be sadly missed. No funeral service, at Ian's request; Donations gratefully accepted to British Heart Foundation.Tributes

So sad to hear Jim has passed away. He was a great mate of mine through our school days in the 60’s . Fond memories of our misspent youth. Condolences to Janice and all the family

Sad to hear Ian has gone. Worked with Ian at SL I always had respect for him.
