HALSALL Elizabeth Ellen "Betty" (nee Telford) Passed peacefully at home on Sunday 28th April 2024, shortly after celebrating her 91st birthday. She is sorely missed by the family she leaves behind and will be welcomed back into the arms of those she loved who passed before her. Her spirit was strong throughout life and until the very end. "Softly, I will leave you softly, for my heart would break if you should wake and see me go". Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Distington Hall Crematorium on Friday 10th May at 2:45pm, followed by a celebration of her life at The Chase Hotel, Whitehaven.
