WARD Christine At the Bethshan Nursing Home, Whitehaven, peacefully on Tuesday 19th December 2023, Chris, aged 75 years. Beloved sister and aunty to Lee, Ryan, James, Ian and Lucy and great-aunt to many. Funeral service to be held at Distington Hall Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at 11:15am. Family flowers only please, donations for the benefit of St James' Church, Whitehaven may be made at christine-frances-ward.muchloved.com.

So sad to hear that Chris has passed away. Chris was my line manager in the early 90's at the BNFL Apprentice Training School
Not only was she a friend but also a mentor , not just to me but to others in the team .
We shared many a laugh. We lost touch quite a few years ago as I moved overseas
I'll always remember her fondly and the fun times we had both in and out of work.
