HALE Gillian (Jill) Peacefully at Cranford Grange Care Home in Cheshire on Friday 16th June 2023, aged 87 years, where she had recently moved following a spell being cared for in West Cumberland Hospital having suffered a stroke on 19th April 2023. Devoted wife of the late Christopher, dearly loved mother of Bridget, Simon and Lucy, mother-in-law to David, Caroline and Mike and proud grandmother to Naomi, Hannah, Charlie, Ella, Edward and Arthur and great-grandmother to Isobel, Alice and Rosie. Active and loved member of Egremont Parish Church and her local community. Making Egremont her home for 65 years where her kind and caring nature and enthusiasm for life touched her many friends and acquaintances in West Cumbria and beyond. Funeral service to take place at St Mary & St Michael's Church, Egremont on Tuesday 25th July at 11.00am followed by private family interment.
