SHAW Alan Morgan 27 Mar 1924 - 19 Mar 2023 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alan (Pop) Shaw who passed away peacefully at Bethshan Care Home, Whitehaven, Cumbria, UK, just a few days away from his 99th birthday. He leaves to grieve his beloved companion, Ruth Thompson, his daughter, Margaret, his son, Kenneth (Barbara) and their families. Heartfelt thanks to West Cumberland Hospital and all the staff at Bethshan Care Home, Whitehaven, Cumbria. Alan's funeral will take place at St. Mary & St. Michael's Church, Church St, Egremont, Cumbria Monday, April 3rd at 1:00 pm. Family flowers only please. Friends, please meet at the Church.
