HANSON David Alan David passed away peacefully in Wales on Friday 5th August 2022 aged 78 years. He leaves his dear wife Sally, his son Johnathan and daughter in law Joanne. He lived in Mirehouse, Whitehaven during the 1950s and early 1960s and attended Whitehaven Grammar School before reading electronics at Bangor University. After getting his degree in 1961 he worked in the aerospace industry in Cheltenham where he met his wife, Sally. David and Sally had a son Johnathan in 1967 and David served in the Royal Navy on a short service commission before setting up his own telecommunications company near Llandeilo in South Wales. David's great lifelong passion was renovating classic cars and later in life particularly land Rovers. David was kind, clever with a keen intellect and a great sense of humour, he is sadly missed by all those who had the great fortune to know him.
