FITZGERALD Lorna Dawson (Porter) Passed away very peacefully on Monday 7th February 2022 in Wyndham Manor care home, Cleator Moor, aged 84 years. During her time spent in the Care Home Lorna received excellent care, including the awful time her family and friends couldn't visit due to the pandemic. Devoted wife of the late Harold, loving sister of the late Bruce Porter. Best mum in the world to daughter Grace; proud and loving grandma to Keith, girlfriend Georgie, Mark and Joseph (Joe) also a very caring aunty of the late Harold's family. Lorna always doted on her la'al dog Poppy. A deeply caring and loving friend of the late Jean Sherwen and of school friend Margaret Crayston (Harrison). Lorna will be sadly missed in the Eskdale valley but always remembered with lots of love, affection, her great sense of humour and wonderful knitting! Funeral service will be held at St Catherine's Church Eskdale on Thursday 17th February 2022 at 11.00am.
