COOKSON Doris (nee Smith) Peacefully, at Picktree Court Nursing Home, Chester-le-Street, on Thursday 3rd February 2022, Doris, aged 99 years, formerly of Leathwaite, Whitehaven and former Headteacher at Kells Infant School. Loving wife of the late Frank Cookson. Funeral service to be held at Distington Hall Crematorium on Friday 18th February at 2:45pm. Family flowers only please, donations may be made payable to Alzheimer's Society and sent via Eaves Funeral Service. Tel. 01946 694213.
