THOMPSON Stanley Passed away peacefully at West Cumberland Hospital on 6th January 2022, aged 89 years. Stan was a loving husband to his late wife, Milly (nee Burney), a lovely dad to David and Janet, father-in-law to Liz and Nick and grandad and great-grandad to Anna, Eve and Clara. Stan lived in St Bees for over 50 years and his funeral will be held at St Bees Priory on Wednesday, 19th January at 10.15am. Donations may be made payable to Alzheimer's Society and sent via Eaves Funeral Service. Tel: 01946 694213. Stan's family would like to thank everyone at Brackenthwaite and The Gables for their excellent care and friendship over the past 10 years.
