MESSENGER George Died peacefully in the West Cumberland Hospital on Wednesday 22nd December 2021, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Maureen, a much loved dad, granda, great-granda, brother and uncle. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Thursday 6th January 2022 at 12 noon. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research UK c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
