ASPDEN Dave It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Dave, aged 78 years, treasured and loving husband of Val, father of Nicola and father-in-law of Ian. A respected teacher in Whitehaven and Millom, Dave died peacefully with Val at his side, at the Liverpool Heart And Chest Hospital on Tuesday 23rd November 2021. A private funeral was held at Anfield Cemetery and Crematorium on Wednesday 8th December. Donations, if so desired, would be gratefully received in Dave's memory, on behalf of the Robert Owen House Appeal who provide onsite accommodation for relatives of patients undergoing treatment, allowing Val to be close to Dave throughout his time in hospital.
