CARRUTHERS George Edward Died peacefully aged 81, at West Cumberland Hospital on Friday 22nd October 2021, surrounded by his loving family. George, an amazing husband to Fran, wonderful father to Stephen and Vanessa and fabulous grandad to Alex and Jessica, will be sadly missed by all his family and so many friends. Requiem Mass to take place at 1pm on Wednesday 3rd November at St Benedict's, Mirehouse, followed by committal at Distington Hall Crematorium at 2pm. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to West Cumbria Carers, C/o Eaves Funeral Directors.
