MILBURN Joe Brigadier Joseph Milburn CBE died peacefully on 17th October 2021, aged 88 years. Husband of Joan, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he had a distinguished career as a soldier after joining the Border Regiment in 1952, followed by a very active participation in local government, and will be greatly missed by many. Funeral at St Bartholomew's Church, Loweswater at 11.00am on Monday 1st November.
