MARSHALL Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Aged 80 years. Passed away peacefully at West Cumberland Hospital on 18th February 2021. Beloved widow of Bob, devoted mother to Fiona and Helen, loving sister to Muriel, kind mother-in-law to Mike and proud grandma of Hamish. Enthusiastic and dedicated schoolteacher to generations of West Cumbrian children. Private funeral at St Michael's Church, Lamplugh at 2.30pm on Thursday 25th February by invitation. Cortege to leave High Thwaite at 2.20pm. Memorial service to follow. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St Michael's Church, Lamplugh c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
