COOKSON Canon Francis Former parish priest at St. Mary's RC church, Cleator, brother to Eileen, Doreen and the late Paul and Christine. Died peacefully at Nazareth House, Lancaster on 3rd July 2020. Funeral and burial at St. Thomas the Apostle, Claughton-on-Brock, Lancashire on 17th July 2020 at 11:30am. Rest In Peace. No flowers please. Donations to CAFOD.

Canon Cookson was a very dear friend and a lovely priest. Happy memories of him at Cleator and the help, love and care he showed to me and my family.
You have served others well good and faithful servant, Rest in Peace.
