AGNEW Monica Kathleen (nee McNicholas) Passed away, peacefully, of natural causes, on 17th May 2020, at Fairways Residential Home, Workington. Our family will be eternally grateful for the love and care given to mam and us by the staff of Fairways. Monica lived most recently at The Castle, Whitehaven, previously at Pow Avenue and High Road, Kells. Widow of our beloved dad Andy and leaves behind children: David, Paul, Elaine, Susan, Sandra and Kevin and their spouses: Mary, Wendy, Ian, Tony, Jeff and Audrey, who loved and was loved by all. Monica was also a loved and loving, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie and a friend - too many to list. She will be missed, a great character and regarded by many as the greatest, kindest, woman ever. Mam was a devout Catholic and received the sacraments before her passing. We request no cards or flowers, if you wish to make a donation, please do so directly to the Alzheimer's Society or the British Heart Foundation.
