ATKINSON George Chamberlain A highly regarded pianist, musician and educator passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday April 3, 2020, aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Florence and dearly loved father of Aileen, Lynn and Derek, cherished pop of Daniel, Callum, Mark, Chloe and Eloise and great-grandfather of Lily. Sincere thanks to Sharon, Mary and Carole for their care, support and companionship to George. His loss is immeasurable and he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Private family burial to be held at Maryport Cemetery on Tuesday April 14th. Memorial to take place at a later date with details to follow, including donation information, after current restrictions are lifted.
