KIRK Fred (Freddie) On the 9th October 2019, after a short illness borne with courage, humour and dignity, Freddie, aged 79 years, dearly loved husband of Marie, adored dad of Tracey and Lisa, father-in-law of Peter and Pete, a devoted and proud granda Fred to Helen and Anna, loving brother to Brenda, Linda and the late Harriet and a great friend to many, the love of his wife and family was his gift to the world. Funeral service to be held at St James Church, Whitehaven on Friday 18th October at 10:15am followed by committal at Distington Hall. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be made payable to Cancer Research UK or Mayfield School and sent via Eaves Funeral Service. Tel: 01946 694213.
