DRAKE Gordon Peacefully at his home in Johnson House, Whitehaven, on Wednesday, 13th February 2019, beloved husband of the late Maureen, dearly loved dad of John and Helen, dear father-in-law of Lisa and John and a much loved grandad of Sam and Ed. Private family funeral was held on Wednesday, 20th February. Gordon's family wish to express their gratitude to Johnson House for providing him with a wonderful place to stay for his last two years. Thanks also to the Doctors and staff at Distington Surgery, to the Carers from 1-2-1 Care agency for their help during his last week and to the Community nursing staff and Hospice at home staff for their care and attention, allowing Gordon to remain at home. Thanks also to Michael Branney of Eaves Funeral Service and to Rev. Rob Jackson for helping us to carry out Gordon's final wishes perfectly.
