HIGGINS, George Edward Mitchell - Died suddenly at his home, Johnson House, Whitehaven, on Tuesday, 23rd October, dear brother of John and Olive, brother-in-law of Jimmy, uncle to his nephews and nieces, dear friend of Dorothy and Mike. Many thanks to the Johnson House staff who looked after him, especially Andrea and Joanne. George was a dear uncle to his niece June, he will be sadly missed, re-united with his loving wife Leah. Funeral service to be held at Distington Crematorium on Friday, 3rd November at 1.15pm. Donations, if desired, may be made payable to RAFA or the Great North Air Ambulance, and sent via Eaves Funeral Service. Tel. 01946 694213.
