BRISCOE, Mary Elizabeth - Peacefully at her home in Tirrel, Penrith on Sunday, 23rd April 2017, Mary Elizabeth, aged 88 years, formerly of Park Drive, Whitehaven, beloved wife of the late Brian, much loved mother of Bernard, Peter, David and Andrew, a dear mother-in-law and a devoted grandmother. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Distington Hall on Monday, 8th May at 12noon. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only are requested, but donations for Cancer Research or British Heart Foundation would be gratefully accepted c/o Yeowart, Gill & Rudd. Tel. 01946 693819.
