SHERWEN, William (Bill) - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 8th August 2018 at the West Cumberland Hospital, after a battle bravely borne and surrounded by his loved ones, aged 86 years, loving husband of Joyce, caring and much loved dad to Jennie and the late Norman, proud and adored granda to Ben, a dear friend to Cindy and a besotted great granda to Ruby. Funeral service followed by cremation will take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Monday, 20th August at 12noon. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
