SMITH, George James - Peacefully at the West Cumberland Hospital on Thursday, August 2nd 2018, George, aged 93 years, of Thornton Road, Fairfield, Whitehaven, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty), dearly loved dad of Anne, dear father-in-law of George, dearest grandad of Jayne (and Andrew) and Lisa, and loving great grandad of Kate, James, Jack and Maisie. Funeral service to be held at St John's Church, Hensingham, on Monday, August 13th at 11.30am, followed by interment at Whitehaven Cemetery. Enquiries to Eaves Funeral Service, Whitehaven.
