CHRISTIE, James (Jim) - Passed away peacefully in the West Cumberland Hospital on Monday, 21st May 2018, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Mavis, dearly loved and adored father of Gary and Lynne and father-in-law of Michael, loving grandad of Lauren and Bethany and a dear brother-in-law of Doreen. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium at 2.00pm on Thursday, 31st May. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to West Cumbria Carers c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.

I hold Jim in Great Esterm, he was a lovely Man, Always a Gentleman.. He was my Boss at Marchon, We All had great banter together & Jim was a pleasure to work for in the Computer Dept.. Our paths would sometimes cross socially as we shared a love for dominoes in the local league or competitions.. I will Always Remember Jim's Kindness, Understanding & the Great Banter & Laughs We used to have... A Man in a Million, Devoted to His Beautiful Family...
