KIRKBY, Alan - Formerly of Ashley Grove Farm, Egremont, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 2nd February 2018, aged 79 years, husband of Avril, father of David and Fiona, father-in-law of Jacqueline and grandad of Rebecca, Gavin, Sophie, Alec and Jack and great grandad of Theo. Funeral service to take place in St Mary & St Michael's Parish Church, Egremont at 1.00pm on Thursday, 8th February, followed by interment in Egremont Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to the Coronary Care Unit, West Cumberland Hospital c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
