BLACKBURN, Cecilia (née Savage) - Passed away at home, after bravely fighting a long illness and in the presence of her family, on Saturday, 6th January 2018, aged 71 years, dearly beloved wife of John, devoted and cherished one in a billion mother to Kristian, Andrew and Charlotte. Requiem Mass to be held in St Begh's Church, Whitehaven at 10.00am on Thursday, 18th January, followed by interment in Hensingham Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Alzheimer's Society West Cumbria c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL. Tel. 01946 810241.
