HAMMEL, Bessie (Bet) - Passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, 24th December 2017, aged 87 years, (formerly of Old Smithfield, Egremont), loving wife of the late Bill, cherished mam to David and partner Andrea, and a much loved friend to many. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Monday, 8th January at 11.15am. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to Hospice at Home West Cumbria c/o Adams, Read & Hocking Funeral Directors, Towerson Street Funeral Home, Towerson Street, Cleator, CA23 3EL.
